This site is owned by Dominican Tours and is licensed to provide services to residents of the Dominican Republic.

Travel Information

Our website displays information on travel locations, Excursion rates, tour schedules and dates, packages, transportation, foreign currency, timetables, travel companies and other travel related material.

Some of the information is provided to us by third party suppliers, such as tour operators, hotels, transportation and information providers. We have taken reasonable precautions to ensure that it is correct and up to date; however, we cannot verify the accuracy of all such information.

It is the responsibility of you “the traveler” to obtain all passport information. We will assist you in obtaining such information; however, the responsibility for obtaining the necessary information and complying with the requirements remains yours and yours alone.

Details of prices, packages, tours and other information shown on the website are subject to change without notice. In addition, the travel products and services described on the website are subject to availability.

Baggage policy: Baggage allowance and policies differ from airline to airline. You are responsible for verifying the baggage policy prior to departure. We attempt to display accurate shipping rate information, but accuracy is not guaranteed. Transportation fares are not included in the cost of your trip. Baggage allowance and restrictions apply to all carriers and are subject to change at any time.

Schedule change: Tour schedule changes or cancellations may occur due to a variety of reasons, such as inclement weather, mechanical or crew problems, civil or political unrest. While we try to alert all our customers by phone or email of any changes, there are cases where the airline does not provide advance notice. Therefore, we recommend that all our customers call the airline or check the status of their flight online 24 hours prior to scheduled departure.

If you find out that your flight has been cancelled, please call us at. We will then deal directly with the airline on your behalf to determine what options are available. If you are at the airport when you learn of such a change, or if you are in transit between climates, we recommend that you deal directly with the airline staff. Please note that in some cases, especially during inclement weather, your options may be limited. All affected schedule changes imposed by the companies will be notified by e-mail.

Prices

All prices shown on the website are subject to change without notice until the ticket is issued. For example, a rate may change after a reservation has been made, so the issuing office will contact you to inform you of the rate increase before proceeding.

Prices stated on the website may not include taxes and airport or other fees.

Please note that all reservations are non-refundable/non-changeable/non-transferable unless otherwise stated. In the event that you, the customer, need to cancel a reservation, we will do everything in our power to assist you.

It is your responsibility to verify the spelling of all passenger names as printed in your passport before submitting your reservation.

Confirmation of payment of excursion

If you make a reservation from outside Canada or the United States with a credit card, your bank may convert the payment amount to your local currency and charge you a conversion fee.

This means that the amount shown on your credit or bank card statement may be in your local currency and therefore a different figure to the figure shown on the billing summary page for a booking made on the website.

Reservation confirmation: after your purchase, you should receive an email entitled ‘Reservation Confirmation’. In some circumstances, your reservation will provide you with a confirmation number before a reservation is issued. In this case, the booking process is not complete and the fare is subject to change until a ticket is issued. After your reservation has been issued, you should receive your electronic reservation.

If you do not receive a confirmation email within 4 hours of booking, you may not have completed your order. Be sure to continue to the last booking issue page where your confirmation number will be displayed.
